Just a reminder that the Fremont Pathfinders will be presenting living history at Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park during the Memorial Day Weekend and Ord Extraordinary Days — 2009. Visitors are welcome all weekend, but Saturday, May 23rd at 9:00 p.m. the Pathfinders (a group of 30 to 50 soldiers) will begin the nighttime firing of the canons. The Ord Tigers will be playing Vintage Baseball on the Parade grounds on Sunday.

The Fremont Pathfinders will be back at Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park beginning on the evening of July 24 through Sunday afternoon July 26th with the Cavalry unit.

When is the Valley County Parade? I thought it was Aug. 9th but needed to check on time. Thank you!

The parade is indeed on the 9th at 5p, Bussell Park. If you’re entering a float, arrival time is slated for 4p with judging to take place 4:30p.

what is the population of Ord and is there a Curves fitness center? thanks

Hi Annie -
Ord is approx. 2,200 individuals. We do not have a Curves, but we do have New Beginnings 24-hour fitness and a fitness center at Valley County Health System.
