A weekend of wine

with one comment

I’m a lucky guy:  I get to travel this great state and see our vibrant rural communities on many occasions, and in the process meet some of the most dedicated people in the world.  Sometimes a nice perk comes with it:  the Central NE Tourism coalition is having their monthly meeting at the Cedar Hills Vineyard in Ravenna, NE.  If you’re following the thread here on the blog, that means wine in Ravenna today and 3 vineyard visits Saturday.  Truly a great weekend to sample great wine and enjoy the Loup Valley Day trips.  Expect plenty of photos of the adventure and wine recommendations from a handful of great people.

A final note – local wine connossieur and vinter (he makes his own wine and its fantastic) informed me that we are only visiting one true winery – Miletta VistaMoonlight Ridge and Cedar Hills are vineyards/tasting rooms serving their own and other Nebraska wines.  We appreciate the correction!
