The Aspen Institute Interviews Ord

leave a comment »

I just finished a delightful interview with Renee from The Aspen Institute out of Washington DC.  They were made aware of Ord and Valley County through our friends at the Nebraska Community Foundation.  Their purpose for the interview: they were interested in ow and why Ord/Valley County has been so successful over the past nine years.  From that information they would share our model in their resource guide for rural communities.  Kinda like open source community development.

I’m not sure how this conversation will unfold, but I’m sure it’ll be another opportunity to share the great work thats has been accomplished in our communities and provide a forum for us to move those ideas forward for future growth.  Here’s to the future!

A tip ‘o the hat to to Jeff Yost and Doug Friedlli at the NCF for making the Aspen Institute aware of us – we appreciate the recognition greatly.
