Support Economic Development

Funding: everyone needs it, the problem is, how do you discern the good from the bad?  I hope you ask yourself that question whenever you’re solicited for a donation or contribution to a specific cause.  Why?  It’s inherent that cause or organization produce measurable results that satisfy your reasons for the contribution.  And…because I’m going to ask you, the reader, to consider supporting our economic development efforts in Valley County.  We’re in full swing with our Economic Development Sponsorship Program, and this funding makes up an important portion of our overall funding.

Many of you have received our sponsorship letter and very possibly a phone call from our Valley County Economic Development Board members.  For those of you who have not, I’d like to ask for your support for a cause that has been hailed as a national model for rural economic development.  Read for yourself if our efforts are worthy of your support – you can read up on our results for 2009 here and our 2010 Action Plan here.  This funding helps to pay for programming and the people behind Valley County Economic Development efforts and support goes a long way in growing our area communities.

If you have any questions about our efforts or want to learn more about how to be more involved, don’t hesitate to contact me:  calebpollard@frontiernet.net

Or, download our brochure and see how you can help grow the economic future of Valley County.

We hope to hear from you, and more importantly, sincerely thank you for your generosity in supporting our efforts.
