Ord Learning Center Open for Business

leave a comment »

Tonight, the Ord Learning Center opens its doors to the public for Central Community College spring classes registration and an open house.  The Grand Island Independent has coverage of the event:

The event will also serve as a registration and information session for this spring’s classes available through the Ord site. This semester, as the new site gets up and running, only “extended learning services” classes — or independent study classes with tests at a CCC satellite site — are available in Ord.

Lansman said the furniture and hardware is expected to be installed later this spring, and classes via distance learning and on-campus instruction will begin this fall (emphasis mine).

Come on down tonight, between 6-8p if you have interest in what’s going on at the Learning Center.  We’d love to have you!
